Samhain Swords

For this years Swordtember, I only got to make some swords for the prompt Samhain. Really enjoyed making them!

I really enjoy the topic of Samhain, so this specific prompt was a no-brainer.

Samhain is originally a Celtic celebration from Scotland and Ireland, which we know today as Halloween. Fun fact is that they used turnips instead of pumpkins in the old times.

For the first sword I went with a thinner profile, but most definitely spooky by having a bat pumpkin!

The second sword is more reminiscent of a rapier, but with a twist.

And lastly I tried making a pirate sword that has a turnip instead of a hand guard.
